I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical therapy and forensics.

With regard to therapeutic services, I provide individual treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. Working collaboratively with my patients, I structure treatment to address the individual's needs, integrating relational theories with cognitive behavioral techniques. Most sessions are 45 minutes in length and are scheduled once a week or every other week depending on the situation. Likewise, in times of crises, I may see or speak with a patient more than once a week. In addition, I meet periodically with parents when the patient is a child, as parents are an important component of working with this population. I also provide sibling &/or family treatment as needed.

Psychological evaluations and cognitive/intelligence (IQ) testing are available as well. However it should be noted that these are generally separate from clinical services and specific to an identified issue. Depending upon the purpose of the assessment, collaterals, such as school staff, may be conferred with during this process.

As for forensic services, I conduct custody evaluations for Nassau and Queens County Courts. These assessments involve individual interviews with each litigant, child, and (if present) other household members, as well as observed interactions between litigants and children. Additionally information is collected from various collaterals. All of this data is then integrated into a comprehensive report for the Court. These evaluations take several hours to complete and are generally conducted over a couple of appointments. Accordingly, this process typically takes many weeks from inception to the submission of a final report.
